Privacy Policy

1.Information We Collect

2.How We Use Information

We use your information to operate your account, process and ship orders, prepare and honor bulk quotes, apply sample credits and reorder discounts, review supplier listings, respond to your requests, send transactional email (sign-in links, order and quote notifications), prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with law. We do not use your data for third-party advertising.

3.How We Share Information

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4.Cookies & Local Storage

We use a small number of first-party cookies and browser storage, plus analytics cookies from Microsoft Clarity:

Tyne does not run advertising campaigns and places no ad-network pixels of its own; the Microsoft identifiers above are set by Clarity as part of Microsoft’s service and are governed by Microsoft’s privacy statement. Stripe sets its own cookies inside the checkout to process payment securely and prevent fraud; see Stripe’s privacy policy. You can block or delete any of these cookies in your browser settings, and browser tracking protection will block Clarity entirely. The functional cookies are required to stay signed in; blocking the analytics cookies does not affect how the site works.

5.International Data Transfers

We are a U.S. company and our service providers store data in the United States. If you access the services from outside the U.S., you understand your information is processed in the U.S.

6.Data Retention

We keep account and order records while your account is active and as needed for bookkeeping, sample-credit tracking, tax, and legal obligations. Artwork files are kept while the related request or order is active. You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal data (Section 8); we may retain what the law requires us to keep, such as transaction records.

7.Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) sitewide, HttpOnly session cookies, passwordless sign-in (so there is no Tyne password to steal), access-limited databases, and payment processing that keeps card data with Stripe. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you as required by law.

8.Your Choices & Rights

You can view and update your profile (name, company, email, phone, website, address) anytime from your account page. Depending on where you live, including under state privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising them. To exercise any of these rights, email joe@usetyne.com from your account email; we respond within the time required by applicable law. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of selling.

9.Children’s Privacy

The services are for business use by people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10.Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date and, where practical, sent to your account email.
